This summer vacation, mom and Dad took me to Beijing. Because I really want to see where the emperor, the queen and the princess live.
So we went to the Forbidden City in our first stop. On the way, my father said to me, "there are 999 and a half rooms here.". I said, "ah! 999 and a half rooms, how big!" but the "room" here is not the current room, but the space formed by four pillars. We hired a self-help interpreter. We listened to the explanation. We went in from the Meridian Gate, the place where the emperor issued the imperial edict and set out. Only the emperor can access the main gate. Along the way, there are three halls, the back three halls, and finally the imperial garden. I took a picture of the princess in her clothes. The Forbidden City is too big and the weather is too hot. I'm hot, tired and thirsty. My father said, "when you come to visit the Forbidden City when you are older, you will remember it better and see it more meaningful.". Finally, we left the Forbidden City from Shenwu gate.
